Lemon pod kit IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Lemon in San José: 17 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a pod kit for lemon
Lemon pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A lemon pod kit from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.29 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: lemon in San José works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon pod kit really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested lemon in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lemon in San José survives.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.

Packaging for lemon in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
