Lemon box mod IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Lemon in San José: 15 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Lemon is allowed to say
If you are looking at lemon in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lemon box mod really costs in San José
A lemon box mod from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.45 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested lemon in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.45 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
