Iced nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Iced in San José: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Iced nicotine salt bottle here
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.54 per 10 ml.
Iced nicotine salt bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Iced in San José reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested iced in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where iced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.

What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
