Iced disposable vape IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Iced in San José: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a disposable vape for iced
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.49 per 10 ml.
We run iced the same way in San José: same disposable vape, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: iced in San José works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced disposable vape really costs in San José
Iced disposable vape reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested iced in a disposable vape
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where iced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in San José survives.
- Treating the advertised ₡47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.49 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.49 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How long does iced in a disposable vape last?
In San José we measured 5 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
