The short version: iced in San José works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced cartomizer really costs in San José
A iced cartomizer from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.11 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where iced goes wrong
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.11 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for iced in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
