Iced 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Iced in San José: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the iced habit
Iced in San José reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you are looking at iced in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
The honest read on iced: 7 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where iced goes wrong
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
