Honey 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Honey in San José: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.67 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long honey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a honey 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Honey sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested honey in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where honey goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why honey tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
