Candy in San José: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Candy mesh tank here
We run candy the same way in San José: same mesh tank, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Candy mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy mesh tank really costs in San José
If you are looking at candy in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested candy in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where candy goes wrong
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does candy in a mesh tank last?
In San José we measured 9 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
