Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Herbal in San José reaches the shelf in zero-nicotine bottle formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: herbal in San José works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.92 per 10 ml.
How we tested herbal in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
