Guava RDA IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Guava in San José: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
Guava in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava RDA really costs in San José
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.14 per 10 ml.
How we tested guava in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where guava goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is guava legal to sell in Costa Rica?

How long does guava in a RDA last?
In San José we measured 8 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
