Guava nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Guava in San José: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Guava nicotine salt bottle here
Guava in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.79 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Guava in San José reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested guava in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Packaging for guava in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
