The short version: graphite in San José works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite mesh tank really costs in San José
Graphite in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested graphite in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
