Guava mesh tank IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Guava in San José: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Guava is allowed to say
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava mesh tank really costs in San José
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested guava in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where guava goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in San José survives.
- Treating the advertised ₡49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.6 per 10 ml.
