Guava 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Guava in San José: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Guava 10 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.93 per 10 ml.
The short version: guava in San José works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a 10 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested guava in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where guava goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 10 ml bottle.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡1.93 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
