Graphite zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Graphite in San José: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Graphite zero-nicotine bottle here
A graphite zero-nicotine bottle from the compared options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.58 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Graphite in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
The honest read on graphite: 21 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested graphite in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
