Home / Graphite RDA IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist

Choosing a RDA for graphite

The honest read on graphite: 18 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.

Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

What a graphite RDA really costs in San José

Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.38 per 10 ml.

How we tested graphite in a RDA

1. Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.

• A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.

Where graphite goes wrong

• Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
• Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
• Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in San José survives.
