Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Dessert pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Dessert in San José reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert pod kit really costs in San José
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.77 per 10 ml.
How we tested dessert in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
