Graphite mesh tank IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Graphite in San José: 18 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A graphite mesh tank from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.31 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Graphite in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: graphite in San José works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite mesh tank really costs in San José
Graphite mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested graphite in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for graphite in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Not automatically. On graphite the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.31 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
