Graphite 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Graphite in San José: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for graphite
A graphite 30 ml shortfill from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.75 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run graphite the same way in San José: same 30 ml shortfill, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
The honest read on graphite: 22 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested graphite in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.75 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in San José survives.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On graphite the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡1.75 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
