Grapey RDA IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Grapey in San José: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A grapey RDA from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.95 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.95 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey RDA really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested grapey in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.

Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
