Grapey box mod IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Grapey in San José: 15 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Grapey in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Grapey box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey box mod really costs in San José
Grapey box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested grapey in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How long does grapey in a box mod last?
In San José we measured 6 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
