Frozen vape pen IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Frozen in San José: 6 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Frozen vape pen here
We run frozen the same way in San José: same vape pen, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at frozen in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen vape pen really costs in San José
Frozen in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested frozen in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
