Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
If you are looking at cola in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola prefilled pod really costs in San José
If you are looking at cola in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested cola in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where cola goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.87 per 10 ml.
