Frozen disposable vape IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Frozen in San José: 16 units tested over 5 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a disposable vape for frozen
We run frozen the same way in San José: same disposable vape, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Frozen disposable vape reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: frozen in San José works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen disposable vape really costs in San José
The honest read on frozen: 16 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested frozen in a disposable vape
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Costa Rica |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Costa Rica | 4–9 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | ₡34 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ₡2.18 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a disposable vape.
How long does frozen in a disposable vape last?
In San José we measured 5 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
