Blackcurrant sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Blackcurrant in San José: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a sub-ohm kit for blackcurrant
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Blackcurrant in San José reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a blackcurrant sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
A blackcurrant sub-ohm kit from the value options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.12 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested blackcurrant in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised ₡31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.12 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
