Frozen 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Frozen in San José: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the frozen habit
Frozen 60 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Frozen in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, 60 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a frozen 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
A frozen 60 ml bottle from the discounted options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.43 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested frozen in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
