Fig vape pen IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Fig in San José: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Fig in San José reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run fig the same way in San José: same vape pen, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: fig in San José works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig vape pen really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested fig in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where fig goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in San José survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is fig legal to sell in Costa Rica?
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
