Fig vape pen IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Fig in San José: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Fig vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A fig vape pen from the starter options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.57 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig vape pen really costs in San José
We run fig the same way in San José: same vape pen, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested fig in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where fig goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for fig in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
