Fig in San José: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Fig sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Fig vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: fig in San José works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig vape pen really costs in San José
The honest read on fig: 16 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested fig in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in San José survives.
The rules that apply here

Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
