Fig vape pen IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Fig in San José: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What fig costs in San José
If you are looking at fig in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Fig in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested fig in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where fig goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
