Fig cartomizer IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Fig in San José: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
A fig cartomizer from the bulk options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.99 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Fig in San José reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: fig in San José works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig cartomizer really costs in San José
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.99 per 10 ml.
How we tested fig in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where fig goes wrong
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.99 per 10 ml.
