Fig 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Fig in San José: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the fig habit
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.94 per 10 ml.
Fig 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a fig 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Fig sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested fig in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
