Dessert refill pack IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Dessert in San José: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with dessert in Costa Rica
The honest read on dessert: 7 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert refill pack really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested dessert in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.21 per 10 ml.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
