Cherry 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Cherry in San José: 16 units tested over 9 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Cherry in San José reaches the shelf in 60 ml bottle formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: cherry in San José works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested cherry in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does cherry in a 60 ml bottle last?
In San José we measured 9 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
