Cream squonk mod IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Cream in San José: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What cream costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Cream prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.33 per 10 ml.
The short version: cream in San José works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cream squonk mod really costs in San José
Cream squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested cream in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cream bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where cream goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should cream start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cream the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.33 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does cream taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cream blend itself harsh.
