Cream RDA IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Cream in San José: 16 units tested over 4 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What cream costs in San José
Cream in San José reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Cream sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cream RDA really costs in San José
We run cream the same way in San José: same RDA, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cream in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cream bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a cream bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cream goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cream tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

On the last run in San José: about ₡3.06 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cream the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.06 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
