Cream 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Cream in San José: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Cream 30 ml shortfill here
Cream sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Cream prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.54 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long cream tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cream 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
A cream 30 ml shortfill from the starter options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.54 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested cream in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cream bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cream goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.54 per 10 ml.
- Mixing cream with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for cream in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
