Honey pod kit IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Honey in San José: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Honey is allowed to say
We run honey the same way in San José: same pod kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Honey in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a honey pod kit really costs in San José
Honey sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested honey in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where honey goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.83 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long honey in San José survives.
- Mixing honey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
