Cola zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Cola in San José: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on cola: 14 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A cola zero-nicotine bottle from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.9 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
Cola in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested cola in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where cola goes wrong
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in San José survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cola the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡1.9 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
