Cola vape pen IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Cola in San José: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cola habit
A cola vape pen from the value options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.75 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.75 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola vape pen really costs in San José
Cola in San José reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cola in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where cola goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cola tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
