Cola refill pack IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Cola in San José: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Cola refill pack here
Cola in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run cola the same way in San José: same refill pack, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cola refill pack really costs in San José
Cola refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested cola in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cola goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cola tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
