Cola nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Cola in San José: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.12 per 10 ml.
We run cola the same way in San José: same nicotine salt bottle, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
The honest read on cola: 24 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested cola in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cola goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

What nicotine strength should cola start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
How long does cola in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In San José we measured 6 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
