Cola 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Cola in San José: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Cola is allowed to say
We run cola the same way in San José: same 60 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A cola 60 ml bottle from the online options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.85 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 60 ml bottle you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested cola in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cola goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for cola in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
