Coffee mesh tank IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Coffee in San José: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What coffee costs in San José
Coffee in San José reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Coffee mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee mesh tank really costs in San José
If you are looking at coffee in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested coffee in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.15 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for coffee in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
