Coconut starter kit IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Coconut in San José: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Coconut is allowed to say
The honest read on coconut: 7 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A coconut starter kit from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.35 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long coconut tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coconut starter kit really costs in San José
Coconut in San José reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested coconut in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
