Coconut pod kit IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Coconut in San José: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coconut habit
Coconut pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: coconut in San José works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut pod kit really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested coconut in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.9 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for coconut in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does coconut in a pod kit last?
In San José we measured 6 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
