Coconut nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the best shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Coconut in San José: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long coconut tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coconut nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Coconut in San José reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested coconut in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.32 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.32 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡28 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coconut the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.32 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
