Citrus e-liquid bundle IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Citrus in San José: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Citrus is allowed to say
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The honest read on citrus: 7 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: citrus in San José works if the e-liquid bundle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus e-liquid bundle really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested citrus in a e-liquid bundle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for e-liquid bundle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a e-liquid bundle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest e-liquid bundle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for citrus in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a e-liquid bundle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡1.83 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡36 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the e-liquid bundle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
