Peach box mod IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Peach in San José: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
The honest read on peach: 18 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Peach prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.48 per 10 ml.
The short version: peach in San José works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a peach box mod really costs in San José
Peach sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested peach in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where peach goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why peach tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long peach in San José survives.
The rules that apply here

Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
