Cherry sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Cherry in San José: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.81 per 10 ml.
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
The honest read on cherry: 22 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested cherry in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.81 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
